A Year of Projects: Week 5

One down, one to go! Finished up summer program #1. Paperwork gets submitted this morning and then I’ve just for the afternoon program. Looking forward to having my morning coffee and knitting time back.

I was able to get some knitting in during the beginning of the week. On Thursday I got my CoVid booster. It kicked my butt! The others made me tired. This one gave me chills, body aches, and fever. My lymph nodes are still swollen, thankfully everything else has passed.

Finished the knitting the tubes of Babygirl’s socks. I need to add the heels and face and they’ll be complete.

I was able to get the gussets done on two pairs of socks this week. My goal is to finish at least one of them this week. Then I will start Babygirl’s socks with the yarn she dyed.

Plan for the Week

This week’s plan includes bringing Candy Mountain Socks and the Summer Fairy back into the knitting rotation.

I also need to work on sewing my friend’s blanket together. The goal is to have it done by the end of August.

After that I want to sit down with the calendar and do some planning. I’ve got a bunch of UFOs that I need to address over the next few months. They need to be finished or frogged at this point. I’d like to take a day and pull everything out to take stock of it all. That’s not going to happen this week, but I do need to schedule it to happen soon. I’m thinking before we start our school schedule in September.
